The First Meeting of the Committee of Kirby Misperton Constitutional Club
The first meeting of the Committee of Kirby Misperton Constitutional Club was held on Monday Feb 4th at 8 pm. The following were present Mr W J Wilson (Chairman), Mr Hood, Mr W Simpson, Mr H Simpson, Mr Bramley, Mr G Shepherd, Mr E Crome, Mr F Ward, Mr D Ward.
It was decided to leave the main business over until the next meeting which was fixed for Friday Feb 8th at 7pm
The following propositions were made and unanimously carried.
- Prop. by Mr Hood and seconded by Mr Bramley that Mr D Ward be Hon Secretary.
- Prop. by Mr Wilson, seconded by Mr W Simpson that Mr H Hood be Hon. Treasurer.
- Prop. by Mr D Ward, seconded by Mr Wm Simpson that members subscriptions be 4 shillings per year, to be paid half yearly.
